College+ serves over 800 students annually, including 500 in the Talent Search Program
College+ advisors support youth in various areas, including grades, post-secondary options, college admission timelines, financial aid forms, scholarships, and more.
They also facilitate college tours, career exploration activities, and connections to summer camps, STEM activities, community service opportunities, and recreational outings.
After graduation, the goal is for College+ students to enroll in local or regional community colleges or four-year colleges and universities. Each year, College+ students are awarded highly competitive scholarships, such as the Ford Family and Renaissance Scholarships, along with PY+ in-house scholarship programs aimed at breaking down financial barriers.
Scholarships Given
79 middle schoolers applied, receiving $17,100 in scholarships.
206 students (grades 9-11) completed Project Youth+ scholarships, totaling $44,400.
173 seniors completed scholarship applications.
11 students received Renaissance Scholarships ($20,000 total at $5,000 per student).
7 students received the Ford Scholarship.
1 junior received a Questbridge Scholarship
Study Abroad
6 students were awarded TRIO Scholarships for study abroad programs.
Destinations: Scotland, Madrid, Barcelona, Palma.

Jasmine Cruz Aguirre, 2024 Ford and Renissance Scholar Recipient. Will be attending OIT in the fall pursuing Nursing. She is a first generation, low income, ESL student.
