Our Programs

Project Youth+ offers four programs:

  • College+ targets low-income, underrepresented youth with high academic potential

  • Whatever It Takes supports students at high risk of dropping out of school

  • Career Build prepares youth with barriers to employment for workforce success

  • +Accounts provides matched savings for college or occupational training

All of our programming is based in long-term professional mentoring relationships. Participants are encouraged to enroll in multiple programs to receive the widest range of opportunities and services

College+

College+ empowers participants to become resilient in the face of adversity, excel in academic coursework, and participate in healthy activities, establishing the conditions for success in higher education and family-wage careers.

Whatever It Takes

Whatever It Takes prioritizes youth who have disengaged from school and provides intensive wraparound intervention towards re-engagement. Its goals focus primarily on improving attendance, grades, credit retrieval, and graduation.

Career Build

Career Build provides opportunities for youth to complete their education, explore vocational opportunities, and prepare for a successful career.

+Accounts

+Accounts help low-income youth and their families prepare and save for college. Along with a typical $5 to $1 college savings match, our +Accounts program includes financial education classes and support from Project Youth+ IDA specialists.
