Full details
College+ Advisors support students in building the academic skills, knowledge, and confidence they need for success after high school. Advisors help students strengthen their grades and learn about college applications, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities. Students also participate in college tours, career exploration, summer camps, STEM and STEAM programs, community service, and recreational activities that give them opportunities to explore interests, build skills, and connect with their communities.
College+ Advisors work closely with partner schools to identify eligible students and invite them to apply. Throughout middle and high school, students explore and prepare for post-secondary pathways that best fit their goals, including community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, trades, and apprenticeships. Each year, College+ students have been awarded highly competitive scholarships, such as the Ford Family and Renaissance Scholarships, that help break down financial barriers.
