FOR every $1 that participants save, we contribute $5 toward their post-secondary education or job training.
The +Accounts Program supports youth in Josephine, Jackson, and Southern Douglas counties with a $5-to-$1 matched savings opportunity. Participants receive financial education, develop personal finance skills, and work with PY+ staff to reach their goals. These funds can be used for education, training, transportation, or emergency savings purposes. Our intention is to empower youth with the financial literacy and the resources necessary to build assets and excel in life.
You may be eligible if you are:
At least twelve years old
An Oregon resident
Meet the income and asset limits
Willing and able to save for a period of six to 36 months
On track for post-secondary education or training
Priority is given to students currently enrolled in other Project Youth+ programs.
